The car justified its name and was really universal: it served as a transporter, and a reconnaissance vehicle, and a light tractor. On its basis, an armored observation vehicle, a self-propelled mortar, a flamethrower "Wosp", etc. were created. Inspired by the success of their "Universal", the English designers conceived the idea of making a wheel variant. In 1940, they installed his body on the chassis of the armored car "Guy".
